It was supposed to be a simple deal between friends. Friends? Yeah, right. I should have known we’re too volatile for that.
Just One Love is the final book in the Black Alcove (BA) series. This may be the last book in this series, but it is the first one I have had the pleasure of reading. I can't believe I missed out on the entire series before this. I'll have to remedy that soon! This is Tyler and Abby's story.
The book did hold up well as a stand alone. However, I didn't have much frame of reference for how Abby has behaved in previous books. I got the impression that she was kind of tolerated because of some misunderstandings in the past between friends. That being said, I loved Abby. I felt so bad for her. All she wanted was a forever kind of love and for someone to finally put her first. I was rooting for her the entire time and applauded her decision toward the end. Tyler was a butt-head for much of the book, but he finally did the right thing. I loved the two together. Everyone around them knew they were right for each other. Their story was an emotional one, but so worth the journey in the end. I highly recommend this one,. It's a quick read and will leave you with a smile!
