Ooops, I forgot to tell you what great book I've read this summer. I joke that each book I finish is the last great book I read. :) But I just finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and it was amazing. I couldn't finish it fast enough to see how it ended. :) Thanks again for the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI would like Objects of my Affection. I am reading the Old Soul 3 book series by Michael Jewell right now, and I love them.
ReplyDeleteI read "Nefertiti" by Michelle Moran and it was really good; it puts you right there into Egyptian history and the setting.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer "Objects of my Affection" because I read Jill Smolinski's other book ("The Next Thing on My List") and it was wonderful.

I recently read "On The Jellicoe Road" by Melina Marchetta, and what was initially a very odd books turned out to be an extremely satisfying and soul-stirring read! Another really surprising and fulfilling read was "Oxford Messed Up" by Andrea Kayne Kaufman - who writes about mental health and love with such poignancy and intricacy.
