But this is Silver Bell Falls at Christmas time…between a mother with matchmaking tendencies, tight living quarters and far too much chocolate, it doesn’t take very long for life to start imitating art.

My thoughts:

The Christmas Plan is the sixth and final book in the Silver Bell Falls series.  It can definitely be read as a stand alone.  The town is a "Christmas" town and one that I am, intrigued enough to want to go back and read the earlier books.  This is a friends to lovers story and ended up being an OK read for me.  The main reason is that I just had a hard time getting behind Gabe and Aspen as a couple.  They worked great as friends, but their romantic relationship felt a bit forced.  There was just no heat there.  I liked Aspen well enough, but Gabe drove me crazy.  He was kind of clueless.  The ending was sweet.  It is worth trying out, though.
