Camden Pike has been grief-stricken since his girlfriend, Viv, died. He’d give anything to have just one more glimpse of her.

This was one of those where I suspect the audiobook may not have been the best route to take.  It was narrated by Jesse Bernstein who if you aren't familiar with the name also did the Percy Jackson audiobooks.  So, just by associating that narrator with those books brought the maturity level down a little bit.  Plus, he sort of read Through to You in a little bit immature way.  Like the character Mike, I think if I had read his words in the book, I would have given him a lot more gravitas (like that word?).

That said, I liked the story.  It was a nice departure from all the post-apocalyptic/dystopian that I usually read.  It also wasn't too romancey (another awesome word). 

It tells the story of Cam suffering since his girlfriend Viv died.  At the scene of the accident where she died he hears a voice and sees a girl.  The girls isn't Viv, but someone name Nina.  She's from an alternate dimension or parallel world.  Everything is almost exactly the same.  Cam finds a place where he thinks he can finally be happy, but Nina isn't telling him everything and their time is running out.

It's a YA romance, so there's a little bit of a love triangle going on.  It's not a typical triangle, so it didn't bother me too much.  There wasn't too much in the way of sex, drugs and rock-n-roll so I think it's ok for most YAs.
