Secret Sisters was a refreshing change from Ms. Krentz's paranormal series.  It's nice to see her get back to her roots.  In Secret Sisters, Madeline and Daphne were best friends when they were preteens.  When a stranger tries to kidnap Madeline, Their lives are changed forever.  Now, a mysterious death on her grandmother's island brings the women back together to try to 

I mostly enjoyed Secret Sisters.  I thought it had a solid mystery that kept me guessing.  The romance was a little on the fast and underwhelming side, so that was a little disappointing.  I did think that Madeline and Jack were good together, but I wanted to feel more of an attraction between them.  It just wasn't there for me.  I was also a little disappointing that we didn't really get to see Daphne and Abe hook up.  Instead, it was implied.  I think if you go into this more for the mystery, you will like it a lot more.  There are a lot of twists and suspects, so it will keep you on your toes.
