My thoughts:

Buck's Landing is a short romance featuring Sofia and Silas.  Sofia has come back home to Buck's Landing to fix and sell her father's business.  The place holds a lot of sad memories for her and she is anxious to move on.  Silas is the new business owner next door who will do what ever it  takes to keep Sofia in his life.

I did ultimately enjoy this one.  This is definitely a steamy romance. The two had good chemistry and I did like how their relationship progressed over the summer.  Sofia was a little frustrating though.  She was not completely upfront with Silas. I felt like she lead him on a little. I did find myself rooting for her though. Silas was just a gem of a guy and was someone any girl would want to be with.

The audio production was really good.  My only complaint was that the narrator used a very New Jersey sounding voice for one of the characters who was born and raised in New Hampshire.  The two accents aren't even close.  But that is just a nitpicky thing on my part.  I do recommend this romance, especially in the audio version.

About the Narrator: Amy Jo Steele

Amy Jo Steele is a classically trained actor who studied theatre at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts NYC, and the New York Acting Conservatory for film acting. She grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and after living and learning in New York, she made the move to Los Angeles. She continued doing theatre but focused more on film work. She studied and performed at Upright Citizens Brigade and was part of a small comedy production group where she first experienced a bit of voice-over work and short story narration which she found an instant love for. When Covid inspired the need for more indoor activities, discovering and stepping into audiobook narration was a perfect and very rewarding solution. One she hopes to continue and evolve in regardless of the state of the world.
