My thoughts:

Eloping with the Lady is the fourth book in this series.  This one is Prunella's story.  In the previous three books, Prunella is already married and her brother is back from his exile in Paris.  This one explains all of those events.  So essentially it takes place before the first book.  This one is by far my favorite of the four I have read so far.  I thought Prunella and George were cute together.  Even though it's quick, I felt a lot of chemistry between them. I loved watching Prunella finally stick up for herself and stop being the "perfect" daughter.   I highly recommend this one.

My thoughts:

Marrying the Lady is the third book in this series.  This one is Constance's story.  I enjoyed this one more than the last one.  There was a little mystery as well as the hint of a romance.  Once again, I would have loved to have it be longer to see the love grow between Constance and William. But what we do see is really sweet.  I have been enjoying the narration in this series.  Definitely give this one a try.

My thoughts:

Presenting the Lady is the second short story in the The Lady series.  This one is Arabella's story.  Of the two that I have read so far, this one was not my favorite.  It's not really a romance.  It's more about Josephine and her husband from the first story trying to keep Arabella in line until her presentation at court.  I would have liked it to focus more on her eventual match and how they ended up in love.  Despite that, it was still a worthwhile listen.  It shows the lengths family will go to protect their own. The audio quality and narrator was as good as the first one. Give it a try.

My thoughts:

Taming the Lady is a very short and sweet story about two people who are considered scandalous by society.  Josephina has been content to be on the shelf.  When she meets Frederick, she realizes maybe marriage might not be so bad.  It thought this was a really cute romance. I loved how the couple's family members helped move the romance along.  It's only flaw is the length.  I wish it was a full length book because I wanted to take my time watching this coupe fall in love.

I do recommend the audio.  The narrator was engaging and made the short runtime really fly by. This is a great first story in this series and one I do recommend checking out.
