They're Watchung You: I thought this was an OK YA mystery. I didn't love the reveal of what was actually going on and I called one of the twists very early on in the book. It was a bit campy for my taste. The characters were kind of boring and the romance was just meh. Not a bad book, just not up to what I am was expecting.
Come with Me: This is a second chance romance with a secret child and lack of communication trope. I ended up really enjoying it. The characters were very sweet and I loved the ending. This is a quick novella that introduces the town of Sugarland Creek. Highly recommend
Operation K-9 Brothers: This was enjoyable romantic suspense with an alpha male and I'm not talking about the dog. I enjoyed watching the couple fall in love. I could have done without the amount of angst that the book had, but the ending was very satisfying. I will continue with the series.
The Night it Ended: This was a great thriller with a lot of twists and turns. It's one that you are better off going into it now knowing a lot about it. I definitely didn't call the ending. I do recommend this one.
Explosive: This is the first book in a Houston Defiance MC series. It's definitely more of a darker romance than I'm used to reading. The motorcycle club in this series is not on the up and up and deals in shady business. I didn't love the heroine. I thought she wasn't very realistic in how fast she got over her abusive relationship. I also couldn't get behind her decision regarding the drugs. The big reveal at the end was way too coincidental to be believable. I won't be continuing with the series.
Keeping Guard: This is the second book in the Operation K-9 Brothers series. There was a bit less angst in this one than the first one. I enjoyed the couple immensely,. I also loved how Noah slowly gained his confidence with dog training again. I'm really loving this series.
