My thoughts:

Secret Southern Promises is the latest in the Magnolia Grove series.  This one features Dolly, the owner of the local grocery store and a blast from her past, Boone who has moved back to town.  The story is a second chance romance, but it also a secret baby story.  That is one of my least favorite tropes.  I'll never understand it and I always feel bad for the guy and the kid. The story was also a bit too short. I didn't get a good feel for the couple together now 15 years later.  Despite those two things, I did ultimately enjoy my time with the book. I thought the ending was cute. It's a good addition to the series.
