September Mini Musings

Aussie Next Door:  This was a cute romance. I did find Angie a bit whiny, but she eventually grew on me.  Jace was too cute.  His being on the autism spectrum meant that he was very literal about everything.  It lead to some very funny moments.  I would recommend this one.

Nine Shiny Objects
:  I have no idea what the point of this book was.  It definitely wasn't what I was getting.  It was like nine novellas that loosely connect to each other.  But each novella alone had no point either.  I just didn't get it and don't recommend it.

Three Sisters in Black:
I did finish this true crime, but it took me a while.  I found myself a bit bored at times. It kind of was all over the place.  In the end, I think you can get the same information on Wikipedia.

Harrow Lake
:  I was really looking forward to this one.  Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment.  I felt like there was nothing new here and I had read this story before.  The reveal in the end was not enough to save the book.  It wasn't spooky, scary or thrilling.  Not sure I would recommend.
