Review: A Face to Die For by Andrea Kane

Author: Andrea Kane
Publisher: Bonnie Meadow Publishing LLC
Date of publciaiton: September 2017

In A Face to Die ForNew York Times bestselling author Andrea Kane explores the urban legend of the doppelganger, as the readers' favorite team of investigators (Forensic Instincts) find themselves in a conflict of interest between two clients. When one case unexpectedly intersects with the other, the only solution is to find the link between the two and unearth who is pulling the strings and why.

A Face to Die for is the 6th book in the Forensic Instincts series.  It comes before Dead in a Week (my review). In this one, the team has two cases to work on. At first they seem to be unrelated, but as the team digs further, the cases end up linked in a shocking way.

This is the type of story that I prefer when it comes to the FI team.  I like when they work more as a team and it is what was missing in Dead in a Week.  The mysteries are more engaging when they all work together.  This is a great set of characters who just fit so well togather.   The mystery was really enjoyable.  There were several twists that I didn't call.  For the most part, it works well as a stand alone book.  But books one through five give the reader more of the background behind the team and how they came to work for Casey. So, it would't hurt to read them first. I definitely recommend this one if you missed it.

Generally not a huge mystery fan, but this one certainly has appeal. Jotting it down to recommend to a friend. Thanks for the share!
