Review: It's Like Riding a Bike by Kayt Miller

Author: Kayt Miller
Publisher: Self
Publication Date: October 2022

Recently divorced Prudence Coleman has a new life, a new job, and new goals. She’s getting her life on track now that her manipulative mama's boy of an ex-husband is a couple hundred miles away. Her new job working with her best friend is a dream come true. She’s taken up bicycling to get her a** back in shape after letting herself go a little bit. The only problem? A jerk named Nate.

Nate Visch has his life figured out. He owns his own motorcycle shop plus he's got a great family and friends he can count on. Life is good. No complaints. That is until the sassy brunette on the bicycle crashes into his life, literally. When that happens, everything in his seemingly good life is turned upside down. He likes her curves, sure. Who wouldn’t? What he doesn’t like is the fact that he can’t stop.

It's Like Riding a Bike is an enemies to lovers story involving  Prudence and Nate.  It's dislike at first sight or first listen as Nate hate's Prudence's musical tastes.  Living in the same town guarantees they will run into each other.  I thoroughly enjoyed this enemies to lovers romance.

Sometimes, I have a hard time wi9th this trope because one of the tow main characters is usually a very unlikable jerk.  However, in this case it was more a matter of miscommunication and preconceived ideas that caused the issues.  I loved watching Prudence and Nate fall for each other.  Prudence had a lot of baggage from a horrible marriage, so I was rooting for her to work through it to be able to see Nate was different from her ex. He was a doozy.  I highly recommend this one. It's currently available on Kindle Unlimited   I hope that some of the other characters in the book get their own stories.  If so, I'll definitely be reading them.
