Secrets From the Heart is the second book in the Clover Creek series. This one features Franklin and Kira. It works well as a stand alone book and I don't feel like you have to have read the first book before this one. For the most part, I thought this was a cute clean romance. I did like the chemistry between the main couple. I thought they were sweet together. I also liked how the feud between the two families was resolved. It proves that grief can really get in the way of communication and relationships. What I didn't love about the book was how it felt really old fashioned. The dialogue seemed like it was out of another era and not in modern day. It came across as a bit cheesy at times. Despite that, I do recommend this one.
