Amy Curry thinks her life sucks. Her mom decides to move from California to Connecticut to start anew--just in time for Amy's senior year. Her dad recently died in a car accident. This is a little bit older book and it was really popular with the YA crowd awhile back so it's been blogged about to death I'm sure. It's got a ton of reviews on Goodreads.
I listened to the audiobook and I LOVED it. It made me want to go on my own epic detour. I have to drive to Florida this summer and I was trying to figure out how I could make that trip longer, but since I would have my 3 kids in the car, that might not be as fun as Amy and Roger were making it sound.
If you love contemporary YA and road trips this is the book for you! And the audiobook was great!
