When Lexie starts working for him, he quickly realizes that she is more than capable of handling his issues. He also decides he wants her in his office and in his bed. Lexie has her own stuff to deal with at home, but she can't ignore the chemistry between her and her boss.
I really enjoyed this one. I thought it was a sweet story without too much angst. That was a refreshing change. I thought Kade and Lexie were good together, especially since Lexie could empathize with Kade over his issues. I was also happy to see that Kade was kind of on the other side of his anxiety issues. Meaning, he had been dealing with it for a while and had learned some coping mechanisms to help deal with them. It made their relationship more believable and solid to me.
This is a great start to a new series. I look forward to Luke and Derek's stories.
