What If you made different choices?

After a humiliating divorce, Penelope is about to try her luck in the dating world for the first time in years. Luckily, she has her two best friends to help her face the singles scene.

Laura, single and loving life, wants to bring Penelope to the club scene. Drink. Dance. Have fun. Nothing serious. Her married friend, Shannon, on the other hand, wants to set Penelope up with a guy from her husband's legal firm insisting he's perfect for Penelope.

Should Penelope go on the blind date? Or hit the clubs?
What about choices after that? Like taking things further with the guy? Or not?

You, the reader, will make choices, and you will determine which kind of romance Penelope gets. From friends-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers, strangers-to-lovers, a pairing with a dominant to be his submissive, even a surprise baby! you'll find a wide range of romantic adventures. Most are happy endings, however - as in life - things don't always work out.

But one of the best parts about Penelope's Paths...When you get to the end, you can go back to the beginning, make different choices, and enjoy a different story.

1 heroine... 9 potential heroes... 10 unique endings.

(Each path ranges in length from 14k to more than 45k.)

My Thoughts:

When I was younger, I used to love reading those "Choose Your Own Adventure" books.  I couldn't get enough of them and always read every possible path that the book offered.  So, when I was presented with an adult romance version of a book like this, I jumped at the chance.  Penelope's Path  follows divorcee Penelope down 10 different potential romantic paths.

I really had a lot of fun with this book.  There were a couple of heroes that I loved and liked the outcome.  There were also a couple that I didn't love and was happy I had other choices.  John and Mike were my favorite paths.  William had to be my least favorite.  One thing that I appreciated about the book was at the end of each path, there is a link to bring you back to the other choice you didn't choose originally.   It made it easier to navigate.  Below, I have included a map of the paths.  Don't worry, there are no spoilers.  I highly recommend this one.  I would love to read more books like this one.

Author Bio:

Isabelle Peterson, the Author of Intoxicating Romances, is a Chicago suburban girl living in coastal Connecticut with her husband of more than twenty-five years, and a nine-pound Shih Tzu. She's also the mother of two incredibly smart and talented offspring. When she's not writing, Isabelle can be found creating a new cocktail or enjoying a favorite one, savoring a good glass of wine, cooking or baking. In fact, if she weren't a creative writer, she'd probably be a bartender or chef somewhere.
